Dear everyone,
Well I did it, I made an account on DA after many of my friends suggested that I do. When I made my account I was afraid of what people might say about my art because I've never been apart of a website such as this one; but so far, so good. I'm currently watching the Food Network at 12:52am when I should cooking up some more logos to show to The Open Door's youth group, The Uprising, which I will be submitting sometime soon. You'll probably be hearing more about The Open Door (TOD) and The Uprising because I am apart of the church and attend regularly. I have also been asked to design a logo for my cousin's website, which I will also be submitting. From July 9th - July 14th I will be helping The Open Door with our first annual vacation bible school. The theme is "Take the Plunge - Make a splash with Jesus!" and it's free, so I expect a lot of children to be there. I'll be helping in the acting dpt. and dancing on stage with our penguin mascot named JP (Just Plunge). It's going to be so much fun! After vacation bible school is through, my mom, my dad, my brother, my grandma and I are going to see a Christian creation museum located in Kentucky. After visiting the museum, we're going to hang out there for a week -- enjoying the nature and non-Houston, fresh air. I'll admit, I wasn't to thrill going to Kentucky, leaving the precious city of Houston and seeing nature and all it's insect crawling, itchy, icky wonder but I think I'm going to make the best of the situation and make the best of my time away. It's not like me to enjoy something that's against my will, but it's the right thing to do...right? Well I think I've said enough, I'm going to return to watching some guy try to combine food and science together and pretend like I know what he's talking about. Bye!
